Captain’s Log,

Hello all, i’m gonna explain on what you will be seeing and reading in Styke’s Voyage.

Firstly, Styke’s Voyage is going to be a very personal blog that logs my daily encounters. What i write would be all from my heart and soul. Somethings it might be a little harsh, so please bare with me. I may comment about subjects which may directly or indirectly hurt you or what so ever, but all these are just my comments and feelings on that subject. So… hope you all don’t mind ya…? Feel free to post comments, make sure they’re relevant ones.

Pink was chosen for the blog’s theme is because i want this blog to stand-out, i want it to give a more personal feeling and not too Styke’s corporate style. Do note…i’m NOT crazy about pink.

Corporate Style – gd or bad?

Captain’s Log,

Today was a brand new day of the week, i’m back in school. But no one’s there… Many of my classmates skipped school to go back to their Secondary school. I find it unnecessary, unnecessary to skipped the whole day. Many of my classmates made it back to class just in time for lesson, i find that that’s the right way.

Tomorrow Kang Heong and Darran should be skipping school too, they felt they can benefeit better @ home. I can’t, i’ll spend my day in my com instead of studying. Then i’ll have to say:

“Mr. Kang Heong… we missed you!”

Anyway, i finally presented Devsky’s rk2730 Brochure today. It was, okay, Skin-head said that it look corporate. I like his compliment, as that’s what i aimed for when i did it. But i felt that i didn’t get that good comments from my fellow colleagues back @ the co. Hmmm, i put in effort in it, though i didn’t spend much time, but i felt that i deserve some thanks or somesort ba. I’m not being petty or what, but just feel that my work is not appreciated. Maybe they dont like the more ‘commercial’ feel of the brochure, i don’t know. Maybe i should be the designer instead and not the Manager…

But i realise that, things i do seems very corporate. Like for example //Kontro’niks – my webP assignment, Darran too says that its corporate. So… isit good or bad? Haha, but i like it, i like to be corporate and proffesional too, though it doesn’t look personal already, doesn’t it?

I missed out a lesson in OOPG, i was lost for the first 15 mins. Lucky there was Kang Heong and Cheng Kin… got help from them and understood more about Arrays, though i felt a little drowsy when listening to his explanation.. kekeke, well that’s all. I’m not gonna do anything tonight, slping soon = )

a brand new day

Captain’s Log,

Today is great. I woke up enjoying myself still in bed, need not wake up so early for school. For such a long time, i haven’t enjoy meself sleeping. I’m suppose to cough whenever i wake up, but today was an exception. The first cough of the day started after 30mins. Hopefully i’ll be fully recover by tomorrow. =)

Anyway, my colleagues in Devsky Inc ‘re working on their brochure, i hope they can come out with something good. I did my best by finalising some of the things that’re still in doubt. Hope that will do some help for them.

Hmmm, i feel that i seriouslly need to change a mobile plan and a phone, or else i’ll be overloading my bill everymonth. I mean 300 sms is too little. Damned!
