Waraku Bad Service!
My stomach was growling before Jo came to save my day!
She picked me up by a cab, went down to Central. Yup, Central… the new mall at Clarke Quay. It’s a very new mall, with I think 50% of the shops still in construction. The structural layout of the mall is very weird, feels a little tight.
We had our dinner at Waraku. They serve good Japanese food, and we got ourselves a great seat. From there you can view the whole stretch of Clarke Quay.
So I was looking around the restaurant, checking out the people. I saw this woman in her early 20s, dressed in both black spaghetti top and super short skirt. She’s walking up and down along the way. I thought she’s looking for a seat. Then I saw her with a tag or something. The next moment she went to a counter to get the whole ice water flask and started serving it. Her ‘uniform’ stands out from her colleagues. Even the manager doesn’t need to be so scantily clad (and the manager looks prettier too).
Back to food. So everyone’s food came it, except mine. That’s fine but when I received my food. I’m really disappointed. It’s not HOT! It’s like it’s left on the desk for 30mins. We told them about it and Angelia said, “I’m really sorry about it, I’ll change a new one for you”
That’s more like it.
They brought it back, this time with ’smoke’ coming out of it. They really did brought it back, the FREAKING same one. I still can see the hole that I made in the middle of the rice. Maybe I look too dumb to be able to differentiate NEW and SAME.
Utterly disappointed. If you’re going to reheat just say so, don’t say change a new one.
I think i know which waitress (is she?) you are referring to… i saw her in starhub branch when I first ate in waraku and I think :” does a jp restaurant waitress need to wear like this?? wow…”
anyway, so far the bad service I had in waraku were in starhub center and marina sq, i tot CQ branch is not too bad…
oh well….
wahaha, not sure who you’re refering to.
anyways, i don’t know they have a branch at starhub. never been to marina sq either.
anw, the girl dressed in black is a Sake Promoter, its a job to look fabulous and introduce and sell sake to the customers i guess..
Marina Square Waraku service and food is the best out of all the outlets, try it man! Definitely wont regret!
=)
really? one day i shall try it out =]
