Creation Wing has finally been completed with it’s features. So if you happen to visit and happen to found something weird, or anything that you dislike, feel free to comment it please.

Creation Wing is created with an intention to make the text more friendly to the eyes. It aims to be simple and clean without much loading time required. All these with valid XHTML and CSS compliant codes.

I’ll be testing the site on my own, for a few days. If I like it and have no qualms, I will start blogging there. I’ll post a notice here when it commences.

I like to go to the blog links page. I get to see all the smiles of my friends and three beautiful ladies. It is nice.

I think I’m super cui, Apple finally delivered their Final Cut Pro to me. I didn’t expect the freaking software to weight 7.7kg. I carried it all the way to Parkway to meet Chin Lee and pass it to him. By the time I was there, my arms are really tired. My arms are still trembling after that.

He told me there’s quite a few changes in CCS. The GM has resigned, new committee members and new issues too. Roger hasn’t start work yet, wonder can he cope.

I wandered around for 10mins before I make my way to get some postage stamps. I had to mail my final semester results to the universities. Have you done it?

I got myself ong lai zui and sit down there for 1 and a half hours. There refers to the playground near the hawker centre, right outside McDonalds. Through out the course I donated 4 dollars to two young girls who keep pestering me to donate to their Silver Ribbon Project. It helps the mentally disabled. I offered 50 cents and they keep bidding it. Sweat. I asked her how much she donated, she said FIFTY!

I almost forgot it’s the March holidays until I asked how come they need not go for school. Geez… Poor dudes too, they started 8 in the morning. Since when does CIP takes the whole day?

Finally Jo came, and dinner can commence…

IDA called up to enquire about my academic and CCA records. I wasn’t confident, especially when she asked, “So have you got Diploma with Merit? Did you get Director’s Roll for every year?” Geez, of course I wish I got them all. I told her I only got it for the last semester and that the awards won’t be release till Graduation Ceremony, which is in May. Hopefully, it’ll be a pleasant surprise for me from SMIT.

When I signed up for NIS, I left the CCA fields empty. For those that know me since secondary, you know I was never an active person in my Secondary. What’s more, I never had an official CCA in poly too.

Now tell me, how is this going to help in the NIS appplication. Z!

It’s because of the email I received from NTU. I think my first choice I chose one of their ‘Flagship’ programmes. Here’s what they said:

One thing though, at least now I know my application is being processed.

Addendum:
I was watching TV yesterday night, at 2230. It’s show called, “I’m Not Stupid” hosted by Jack Neo. It discussed about the problems that parents and their children faced. I think it is quite good, and that more parents and their kids should watch it. I think it kind of copies the taiwan variety show, “The Next Generation”. One thing though, the air time could be stretched to an hour instead of 30mins.

Was supposed to meet Su Ling and Moses at Electronic Arts (EA) for lunch, something cropped up and so I have to stay put at home for a moment. Went to Parkway with an intention to get my broken Visa fixed. I tried to called the Customer Service before I left home, I remembered that all I need to do is call their hot-line and they’ll fix it. Their line was so HOT that no one picks it up.

I went in, puzzled by the choices I have, that is, to join the queue or to press for a ticket. I approached their staff, and this young man told me, for cards’ replacement just join the general queue. Good.

It was a ten minutes waiting time before my turn. I took out my debit card and identification, that counter staff was still sipping away from his packeted kopi peng while looking at me in the eyes. I said I need to replace my Visa. He had another sipped again and start tapping at the card. Finally he opened up his mouth and said, “This is a Visa, we don’t do replacement here.” He went back happily sipping the final few drops of kopi peng. I look at the senior stuff standing next to him, he smiled.

Went to Orchard to meet them. They wanted to catch a movie, it’s called Norbit. Two of us don’t like to watch it and we three decided to save our cash to do something more budget. Indeed it is budget to go other’s house. Can chill, can sleep, can watch TV and what not without paying a single cent.

Finally get to see Heng Heng (a he) and Ah Wu (a she), the two big cats reared by Su Ling. Too bad they’re not as interacting as dogs, but at least they don’t make a din.

Dined at Botak Jones since its just a few blocks away. It’s not as crowded as Clementi’s, probably due to the location. Did they increase their price? Fish & Chips used to be $5.50 isn’t it?

Spent my last day at CareCancer is a very slacking way. I’ve basically completed all my tasks since last week. All I’m doing now is researching new things to put into the website.

Anyway, the purpose of me going in yesterday was for me to attend the meeting with Nothacker. They’re making a software for CCS, and Manager felt that I should attend.

Their office is at Biopolis, Matrix. We had a difficult time finding this Matrix building. We were still looking for the BIG sign outside its building. It turns out the signage is of a much smaller scale. Just along the roadside.

The meeting takes no longer than 40 minutes. I was expecting something longer, where they would present us their development plans. Apparently that’s not the case, it turns out to be more of a Q&A for both parties.

The software seems simple, those Web Applications that the Info-Sys guys do in our school.

I was doing practically nothing, browsing around web sites, forums and what not. For a moment, I didn’t understand why I resigned. Oh well… I found a replacement! Yes, it’s Roger.

He’s Mr Nice Guy (一个好人）, he studies Info-Sys, he’s hardworking and I believe he’s up to the task for him.

He’s going in for the interview today, hopefully he can settle in quick. Shouldn’t have problems reading my codes, since I’ve them well documented.

Rushed to meet Ling Hui, I still owe her treat! Dine at Moon River Cafe, since I really got no idea where to go. Did a lot of catching up, she filled me in with all her gossips! Given a new task, that is to do a postcard.

Now that I’m here, free and restless.

Jo bought me a cup of Chocolate Blended drink from Godiva! Tastes real fine when it’s scorch hot today.

Went to the NTU Open House with Camillus. There’s nothing much there. It’s all the booths setup by various faculties, schools. Project showcases of their undergraduates. Well, that’s about all. Felt that the event was meant more for the College students to attend.

We met up with Ivan and How Keat, to watch 300. It is full of actions, with the usual story line. It’s based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller. I really like the way the Spartans fight and all. The phalanx works as 1 singular block, if one fails the formation breaks. The power of a well trained, disciplined and motivated army is able to defeat enemies that greatly out numbers them. After waves and waves of charges that Xerxes throws at them, they’re still undefeatable. Well it’s only a matter of time that defeat comes, when you have 1 million against 300 hoplites that hasn’t received proper rest.

I think it’s a great movie.

Alright, I’ll still have to back CCS to attend a meeting at Biopolis on Monday. Hopefully and I really don’t want to go back on Tuesday either. Finally, if they can’t find people to do the work for them, I’ll be doing part part time instead. For that, I’m not really sure if I want to do so.

Met up with Jo on Thursday. We went to Kinokuniya, the purpose is to get a photo book for sis’s friend. Yup, photo book or better known as 写真(xie zhen) of those young Japanese girls. Now, it’s my first time doing so, and I realise the girls aren’t really nice. I had a hard time selecting a girl that I feel would look good. Most of the them would have a face of innocence, or inferior-ism, making the male reader feels more masculine probably? I don’t feel that way though, it doesn’t look nice. I prefer those that smile! =D

We dined and had a great evening chatting around. These days hardly have times to spare for siblings you know? Everyone got to mind their own business.

And it’s Friday today. Sorry that I have to be a big light bulb when you two are dating. Heh! Tried Cavana in Marina Square. Hmmm, the food is only alright. They sell mostly chicken, fish in hot plates or fried and what not.

Tomorrow to visit NTU for their open house. Watch 300 with Ivan and the usual in the afternoon.

Monday to meet Ling Hui in the evening to help her with designing a post card.

Tuesday to go back Electronics Art to meet Jasmin and gang for a meal.

Wednesday to find some solution to keep myself busy. Creation Wing is still awaiting for development.

It’s my last day in CareCancer! Or is it not? I hope I need not return back on Monday, I don’t want to return back just to attend some stupid meeting!!!

Geez…

ST0307 – Internship Program – A

Yay! An ‘A’ for internship, means my efforts are not wasted. What’s even better is that my GPA got above 3.5! Cool.

I’m practically doing nothing much after formatting a PC this morning. There’s not much stuff for me to do, hence I got a feeling that sooner or later I’ll be put on leave again. Noooo~! That can’t happen, must find backup job. Hehe!
